At Trimaxion, the safety and security of your art objects is our highest priority. Our
20,000 square foot facility, constructed of concrete and steel, conforms to all local
fire and building codes. Our clients’ inventory is 100% protected from UV radiation in
our climate controlled, windowless storage facility. In compliance with the American
Association of Museums’ Standards and Practices for Collections Stewardship, our
storage facility’s temperature is constantly maintained at 70 degrees Fahrenheit
(plus or minus 3 degrees) and the humidity is maintained at a constant 50% RH
(plus or minus 3%). Our HVAC air filtration system protects all items in storage from
pollutants that can contribute to object deterioration. The facility undergoes a
monthly inspection for pests, weekly mopping and dusting, and daily trash removal.
FACILITY ACCESS
Trimaxion ensures the protection of the warehouse and its inventory from burglary,
vandalism and fire through a multi-faceted system of prevention, detection, and
immediate response to threatened security and preservation. Trimaxion
management must authorize the entrance of any non-company personnel according
to a specific time window arranged 24 hours prior to the visitor’s scheduled
appointment. All visitors must sign a visitor log upon entering and exiting the facility.
Non-company personnel - including but not limited to our clients, vendors, and third
party maintenance - must be escorted by Trimaxion warehouse staff at all times and
in all areas of the facility.
In compliance with the TSA’s Certified Cargo Screening Program, unauthorized
access is prevented by identifying all employees, visitors and vendors at the facility’s
loading dock, which is the exclusive entrance area to the facility. The roll-up doors of
the loading dock are closed and locked whenever the dock is idle. The main point of
entry for visitors and personnel is secured by two doors which are each equipped
with a Fox Style Police Double Bolt Lock. Only authorized Trimaxion employees retain
keys to these doors. All other visitors are screened through a video intercom before
a warehouse staff member may open the door.
BURGLARY + FIRE
Trimaxion operates a UL approved central station burglar alarm system and a central
station fire alarm system. The burglar alarm is networked to a web of motion censors
installed throughout the facility. The entrance to the facility is located in the rear of
the building. Due to the U-shaped layout of the building and its junction to the
secure, three-story parking garage, the entrance to Trimaxion is enclosed by a small
lot, exclusively accessible by one long, narrow driveway descending from Northern
Boulevard. This lot is monitored 24 hours a day by security camera. Access to this
rear lot is prohibited by a high chainlink gate that is locked at night and on weekends
when the buildings’ commercial businesses are not operating. We routinely inspect
our early warning smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and trigger head sprinkler
system to ensure that everything is up to date and standards.
The building is located three blocks from its servicing fire station and one mile from
its servicing police station:
